Sheltering Love, One Paw at a Time

Our Commitment as Rat City Rescue

We believe every cat deserves safety, compassion, and a chance at a loving home. Through rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible adoption or TNR when applicable, we work to protect vulnerable cats and support the community that cares for them.

Our Vision

We envision a world where every cat is valued, protected, and given the opportunity to live a healthy, enriched life—free from neglect, suffering, and homelessness.

Our Mission

Our mission is to rescue cats from unsafe or uncertain situations, provide medical care and emotional rehabilitation, and place them into permanent, loving homes or return them to a safe site after their spay/neuter to live their lives safely, happily, and in better health.

Greetings! We are currently at capacity and are not accepting new cats or trapping sites at this time. Please purr-use our site to adopt a new feline friend! If you are in King county please reach out to Regional Animal Services of King county (RASKC) for further resources.
